Our story

After working in the NHS for 6 years as a qualified podiatrist (9 years including my training), I made the decision to build a business that balanced my clinical expertise with more time for my four children — and from that, La Piel was born.

Alongside my skincare and aesthetics services, I am now proud to offer home-visit podiatry treatments, delivering the same level of trusted, high-standard care I provided in the NHS — but in the comfort and convenience of your own home.

I graduated with a First Class Honours BSc in Podiatry from Salford University in 2018, and my NHS career began as a community podiatrist, caring for patients with complex foot health needs such as diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, wound care, and nail surgery. I later progressed to a Biomechanics Specialist Podiatrist, where I assessed and treated conditions such as limb length discrepancies, pronation, and joint pain with custom orthotics.

Podiatry remains a core part of my professional identity, and I’m excited to offer a bespoke, discreet, and clinically safe foot care experience to my community

initial assessment

We perform a comprehensive foot health screening and risk assessment for all of our new clients as part of our initial consultation, with annual follow up recommended. This assessment helps us to understand your foot health and tailor treatments accordingly.

This includes:

A neurological assessment to assess foot sensation and vibration in your feet and any nerve-related issues
A vascular assessment using a handheld doppler, assessing blood flow to your feet and lower limb.

nails only

Professional nail trimming, filing, reducing thickened nails, non-surgical ingrown toenail spike removal where required.

Callus /corns only

£35

Professional use of a sterile blade to carefully reduce hardened calluses and remove stubborn corns to relieve discomfort.

A mandrill file is then used to smooth and exfoliate the skin. The treatment is then finished with application of a urea based foot cream to deeply hydrate and improve the skins barrier.

Nails and dry skin

diabetic screening

ADD ON SERVICE ONLY.

Our screening includes:

A Neurological Assessment using a 10mg monofilament and tuning fork to test you feet for sensation and vibration, identifying any nerve damage.
A Vascular Assessment with use of a handheld doppler to assess blood flow to your feet and evaluate circulation.
We will then combine these results, along with your medical history and any previous complications to determine your level of risk for foot complications.
